Card Management Solutions

Credit Card Application Processing

SmartIssuer also provides application processing, with a scoring component that helps pre-qualify applicants—application data can be captured either manually or electronically. The card management solution also helps efficiently manage the customer relationship after the card has been issued including statements, invitation letters, online fees, and reports. SmartIssuer is highly configurable so you can create unique customer profiles. In addition, all customer communications such as events, transaction details, and statements can be sent by a variety of delivery methods such as mail, fax, email, and SMS text.

SmartIssuer also interfaces to external call centers and provides screens that assist with transaction inquiries. It also includes built-in workflow for dispute resolution. This automated card management system reduces operational costs by providing tools that help resolve chargebacks and disputed transactions. Fully Configurable Product Engine

SmartIssuer provides flexible configuration tools to help issuers create innovative card products on-the-fly. By selecting from pre-defined sets of card characteristics, issuers can quickly design targeted card products that exactly match customers’ requirements.

Product Development Tools

Tools are provided to organize product templates, such as base commission rates, agreement terms, and other parameters that apply to customers within a defined template. SmartIssuer is completely flexible and is not limited to specific templates.

Flexible Fee Setup

SmartIssuer supports flexible fee calculation rules set up, as well as transactional and event-driven fees. Various fee calculation algorithms are supported, including fixed value, fixed value threshold, fixed value tiered, percentage value, percentage value threshold, percentage value tiered, and combinations of these types.

Numerous Card Types

Multiple card types can be created that follow various payment schemes—VISA, MasterCard, China UnionPay (CUP), Diners Club, American Express, and proprietary cards—also different physical card types such as magnetic stripe, contact and contactless chip cards, co-branded cards, individual and corporate cards, and supplementary cards linked to main accounts. Debit, credit, and prepaid cards are also supported.

Multicurrency Support

Multicurrency support is provided and various rules can be applied to define fund sources. SmartIssuer can accommodate accounts in local currency for local transactions, account selection, and others.
